We’ve been fans of Q36.5’s Dottore bib shorts for several years, and with this latest release (now Dottore ‘Pro’), one of our favorite bib shorts of all time gets a host of upgrades that promise to keep it in high rotation this season and beyond.

Previous iterations of the Dottore featured a compressive fit. With the Pro, Q36.5 has increased the amount of muscle support on offer, thanks in part to a new proprietary high-density woven fabric that also features silver thread woven into the weft of the material.

The general cut of the bib has also been tweaked, with the stomach and downstairs areas benefiting from a little more room for manoeuvre. You know of what we speak. Additionally, the legs now extend another 2.5cm, which was an oft-requested change with previous iterations.

Underpinning it all is a new chamois, courtesy of Q36.5’s C-Interface and Q LAB Air technology. Chamois tech is notoriously obscure, but the big change is how well the pad integrates with the pattern of the bib shorts, reducing the potential for chafing over long distances. In terms of support, the Dottore’s chamois boasts a super high-density open cell foam, ensuring cushioned protection from road vibrations.

And the feel. The feel is something else. The Dottore bibs fit wonderfully and move in unison with your body. They’re impeccably tailored and pair well with various styles of jerseys. To cut to the chase: we love them.
