This session will give coding and billing professionals the information they need to submit accurate claims for interventional radiology services in 2027.  Attendees should have a working knowledge of interventional coding, as this session is not designed to teach the basics, but rather to update and fine-tune attendees’ interventional coding skills. 

Interventional coding hot topics and problem areas such as the following will be reviewed during this session:

·       When you can bill for diagnostic angiography and additional sub-selective imaging

·       Challenging transcatheter procedures including but not limited to dialysis circuit interventions, embolizations, thrombectomy with infusion therapy

·       Nonvascular procedures including biliary, urinary, biopsies, aspirations and more

Each participant will receive a copy of the RCCS 2027 Navigator® for Interventional Radiology, a comprehensive reference manual on interventional radiology coding.
