'Oh My Goodness' is the perfect name for this Tillandsia with its stunning transition to an intense blush during bloom. This air plant is a cross between Tillandsia caput-medusae and Tillandsia ionantha Fuego:

• Foliage: Unlike a standard ionantha, the leaves are slightly longer, grooved, and recurivng. They emerge from a distinct base then flare outward. Leaves, at maturity, will change color from a deep magenta to hot pink, while the outer older leaves typically stay a grey-green. 
• Inflorescence: A short, simple, spike-like scape rises just above the plant. It is typically pink or reddish to match the blush leaves. The blooms are tubular and violet-purple, emerging sequentially from the spike.

Key features:

• High trichome coverage means it prefers brighter light and drying quickly between waterings. Because the leaves are so dense at the base, water may pool and rot the center if the plant is left upright after watering.
