Description:

Nobuyuki Masuda, a guitarist who won the first prize at the Tokyo International Competition in 2003 and has since been active internationally based in Germany, chose the music of J.S. Bach, a special repertoire for guitarists, for his first album. Bach's music. Although Bach himself did not write any guitar music, his lute pieces and unaccompanied pieces for violin and cello have been arranged and performed for guitar especially since the 20th century. The three pieces recorded in this album are all arranged by Masuda himself, making the most of the characteristics of the guitar instrument without losing the charm of the original pieces. A new masterpiece of "Bach for Guitar" is born. Recorded: June 1-3, 2015 at Gotanda Culture Center
