Classic Serkyem Offering Cup in Oxidized Copper - for Golden Drink Offerings to Buddhist Protectors, Available in 3 Sizes
This protector offering cup set, known as a Serkyem, is made of oxidized copper with a simple design. A Serkyem offering, also known as a Dharmapala offering, is used for ritual offerings to Protector deities and guardians. The Serkyem consists of two pieces: a chalice and a basin for overflowing. It is commonly filled with tea, wine, and other tsok substances, and offered to dharma protectors for the continuous safeguarding and propagation of dharma teachings. In Tibetan, "ser" means gold and "kyem" means drink.
