Volume 155 of the series features Ravel's one-act opera "A Time in Spain" and his early orchestral work "Spanish Rhapsody"! The newly mastered reissue of "The Hours of Spain," conducted by André Cluytens, is a rare reissue of a performance of Ravel's work that cannot be overlooked. The soprano Denise Duval, who was discovered by Poulenc and was active in Paris, is the core of the singers, and her precise coordination of the singers is a masterpiece in this comical opera.
