The field for our Okumidori is located in the heart of Yubune, in area known as “Mukaide.” The family has been using this field annually for the production of tencha. Following the first harvest of the year, the tea plantations are carefully maintained and cared for with nitrogen rich fertilizer in anticipation of the next harvest.
