In 2018, the 333rd anniversary of Bach's birth, Richter's collection of Bach cantatas is re-released with Japanese lyrics and bilingual translation. No. 17 is a cantata for the 14th Sunday after the Trinity in 1726, and is thought to have been first performed on September 22 of the same year. No. 51 is for the 15th Sunday of the same year and was premiered on September 30, 1730. Richter recorded No. 51 twice, but this disc contains the new recording.No. 27 is for the 16th Sunday of the same season and was first performed on October 6, 1726, and No. 148 is for the 17th Sunday of the same season and is thought to have been first performed around 1723.
