Tamsin Waley-Cohen, a brilliant British violinist who was acclaimed as "the most talented young violinist I have ever met" and selected for the 2016-2017 ECHO Rising Stars season, will be performing in Japan in February 2019 in an unaccompanied recital and a successful tour with the Yomiuri Symphony Orchestra. Albion String Quartet, a young British ensemble formed in 2016. Following Dvorak's string quartet collection, Signum's fourth release couples masterpieces by composers who lived in the very different social and political worlds of the Soviet Union and Great Britain in the immediate post-World War II period. 2019-20 season at the Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C. Watch for the polished ensemble of young professionals who continue to rapidly gain ground on the international stage, making their U.S. debut and appearing at prominent international music festivals such as the Oxford Reader, Stratford, and Belfast.
