These chairs were designed by Walter Dorwin Teague Associates for the landmark interior design commission project for the United States Air Force campus in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1958. The campus buildings were designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

Overall good original vintage condition with light wear. There is sun fading to arms and bottom seat cushion. One strap underneath has disconnected. Thonet label to underside of each. Matching sofa from this series (with different upholstery) also available.
