The StellaMira 66mm ED2 Quadruplet f/7 flatfield refractor telescope produces wonderful, super-sharp, flat-field images, making it an excellent choice for wide-field astrophotography! 

Its quadruplet (four lenses) f/7 optical system provides a wide, flat field of illumination with sharp, round stars across the entire field. The fully multicoated optical design also incorporates two ED glass lenses that significantly reduce chromatic aberration. 

The native field of illumination is 44mm, so it can be used with camera sensors up to and including full-frame. There is no need to calculate back-focus distance or buy a separate field flattener. 

An optional 0.8x Reducer/flattener is available to enable imaging at f/5.6 with sensor sizes up to APS-C. 

The sturdy 2.8-inch rack-and-pinion focuser with threaded camera connection features a dual-speed mechanism with a 10:1 reduction gear for super-fine focus adjustments and an integral camera-angle adjuster that lets you quickly and easily rotate your camera to achieve the best composition. 

Other features include a fully CNC-machined black-anodised body with knife-edge internal baffles, a retractable dew shield, two accessory shoes, a convenient mounting rail/handle, and a Losmandy-style mounting plate. 

Although the 66mm ED Quadruplet is designed for astrophotography, its sharp, high-resolution, well-corrected optics deliver excellent views for visual astronomy when paired with a 2” diagonal and a wide-field eyepiece.
