1868 Tallow Balm is pure ranch luxury for the skin, lovingly hand-crafted at the Taylor Ranch in Cambria, California from just three ingredients - grass-fed beef tallow, organic jojoba oil, and organic plum kernel oil - plus a unique scent.

This balm, redolent of the orange blossoms which perfume our ranch in springtime, is named for an impoverished French shepherdess who shared bread with the poor to the dismay of her wicked stepmother. When her stepmother tried to take the bread from her, the crumbs were transformed into flowers. This balm features a custom blend of orange blossom absolute - a precious and extremely difficult-to-obtain essence of orange blossoms - and a custom scent showcasing a beautiful Tunisian orange blossom absolute. It's sunny and floral like orange blossoms, with the slight edge of bitter orange.
