Morgaua Quartet
Description:
This is the long-awaited third progressive cover album by the Morgore Quartet, one of Japan's leading string quartets, which has previously released "21st Century Mental Normal People" (2012) and "Crisis of the Atomic Mother" (2014), both of which were well received. The quartet's passionate and eclectic arrangements and performances are making a name for themselves not only in Japan, but around the world as well. However, Keith suddenly passed away just before the concert. While not only progressive rock fans but also music fans around the world were in mourning, at the funeral, Morgore hurriedly recorded Keith's new song "After All of This," which was to be performed with the band at the concert in Japan, and the soundtrack was played. This disc is centered on that soundtrack played at Keith's funeral, and consists of all songs by ELP and Keith Emerson, including ELP's epic "Tarkas". This is a memorial album by the Far East's finest quartet dedicated to the great synth god. The most notable track is "Tarkas".A symphonic masterpiece that shines brilliantly in the history of prog rock, Takashi Yoshimatsu arranged an orchestral version of this classical prog rock masterpiece that caused quite a stir. This time, TARCAS is arranged with all his might, and is a superb performance that brings out the true romanticism and exquisite structure of this work like a miniature painting.
