Protocol Notes & Handling Guidelines

• Suggested Working Dilution Range: 0.5–2 µg/mL for both Western Blotting and Histo-/Cyto-Chemistry. Because optimal dilution is a function of antigen density and sample permeability, actual concentrations must be determined empirically by the user.
• Endogenous Biotin Blocking: It is necessary to block endogenous biotin prior to staining samples to minimize background noise and avoid false positives.
• Background Optimization: If non-specific background binding is high, reduce the working concentration. Alternatively, briefly centrifuge the conjugate vial and use only the clear supernatant for your staining protocol.
