A very generously proportioned stool dating from the late Victorian period. The ebonised frame has decorative gilt designs, typical of the Aesthetic Movement. This decoration is repeated on the turned legs and stretcher. This antique stool is in excellent condition, it is sturdy and runs well on the original castors. We have reupholstered the stool using traditional methods and have covered it in a durable calico fabric, ready for the buyer to cover in a fabric of their choice. A large and versatile stool to use as a coffee table, as extra seating or at the foot of the bed.
