To measure a dog's chest, use a soft tape measure to wrap around the widest part of their chest, usually right behind the front legs, while they are standing. The tape should be snug against their body but not tight, and you can use a piece of string if you don't have a flexible tape measure. Make sure the tape is level around the chest and doesn't droop.
