Polus, also known as Coeus, is a Titan god in Greek mythology. He is associated with the celestial axis or "polos," which is the imaginary line around which the heavens appear to rotate. As one of the primordial deities, Polus/ Coeus plays a vital role in the cosmic order, responsible for the movement of the stars and the axis of the heavens.
