Compatibility Requirements

• 1998 1999 2000 2001
• 10th letter of your VIN # must be an W, X, Y, 1
• Must be normal key start ignition.
• Must have power locks / keyless entry
• Automatic transmission only will not work on manuals

Installation Help

NOTE: This kit is NOT plug and play!

Most all connections are done at the driver under dash area - the key cylinder, the kick panel, the fuse box, the headlight switch, and then 1 wire needs to be rut out under the hood and connected at the injector. While we don't consider this installation difficult, it will require someone confident and comfortable locating and tapping into wiring. If you are not able to do the installation yourself we highly recommend finding an installer BEFORE ordering.

If you have a plain metal key without a chip in it, the installation will be a bit easier than vehicles that have a chip in the key. See the photo to help determine if your vehicle has a chip in the key or not.
