The Elkay LZWS-ERFP8-RF is a Retrofit bottle filler kit designed to equip existing bi-level refrigerated Soft Sides fountains into filtered bottle filling stations.

Do you have an existing refrigerated Bi-Level Soft Sides fountain? If so, the Elkay LZWS-ERFP8-RF Retrofit is a great option to transform your drinking fountain into a Bottle Filling Station.   

We advise that NON-CHILLED fountains less than 10 years old are suitable for a retrofit. We advise that CHILLED fountains less than 5 years are suitable for a retrofit. Electrical Parts & Water System

Maintenance

Cleaning

It is recommended to use soft cloth and mild dishwashing soap to spray and wipe down the unit.  Routine cleaning is also suggested.  

Filter Replacement (IF APPLICABLE)

When filter status light turns to red, the filter needs to be changed.  Follow these steps:

1) Remove the bottom access panel.

2) Unplug unit

3) Unscrew old filter

4) Install new WaterSentry Plus filter.  

5) Reset filter light back to green by removing top cover and pressing the black reset button.  Select reset filter.  The light should appear as green.  Detailed instructions on filter light reset are included in produce package.

Q: How long does it take to install this retrofit?  

A: Depending on factors such as existing mounting, electrical access, and drainage, installation typically falls between 2-5 hours.  

Q: Does this retrofit come with a chiller? 

A: No. However, the retrofit will utilize the compressor from your existing fountain (if applicable).  

Q: Where is the filter status and bottle counter button located on this retrofit? 

A: If properly installed, the programming button should be located in the pushbar of the previously existing fountain.
