Pomegranate red colour. The bouquet is rich and complex, with aromas of fruit jams, spices, cherries, sour black cherries and hints of tobacco and cocoa. On the palate it has a deep structure, warm, broad, complex elegant and velvety.

The grapes used for the production of Amarone Valpolicella Riserva DOC of Brigaldara are chosen from a selection of the best vineyards of the winery. Amarone Riserva displays great balance and elegance with hints of complex deep tertiary flavours. Refinement requires 3 years in barriques and 2 years in oak casks of capacity 25 hl.

Excellent for tasting as a meditative wine, it also pairs well with stews and braised dishes of local cuisine: pastissada de’ caval (minced foal), stracotto d’asino (braised donkey).
