Intense aromas of chocolate, black cherry, and raspberry intermingle with savory notes of sage and thyme. The tannins are lithe, intertwining with flavors of black cherry, coffee grounds, and crushed rocks. The 2018 Estate Selection has a perfect balance of fresh acidity followed by bright fruit and minerality that extend the finish, foreshadowing significant aging potential.  Michel Rolland and Philippe Melka are consulting winemakers on this exciting new producer.

Crown Point Vineyards is located in an idyllic location 12 miles north of the Pacific Ocean, nestled between the Santa Ynez coastal range and the San Rafael mountains. The vineyard benefits from a mild Mediterranean climate, perfect for growing a diverse range of grape varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Sauvignon Blanc.
