The mounting canister is installed during the rough-in stage of construction, avoiding damage to the luminaire itself, and the final stages of installation are completed at a later stage. The canister holds the luminaire in place by two high-temperature, heavy-duty gaskets. This allows installation with no visible screws on the front trim.
The Step Light Canister in 316 marine grade stainless steel has been designed for simple installation of the Step Light in harsh environments. Suited for limestone or areas that are affected by salt water.
