[The Art of Friedrich Goulda: Quasi-New Releases/Encore Press] Friedrich Goulda was a unique pianist who recorded Beethoven's complete sonatas three times and also devoted himself to jazz, and challenged new music while inheriting the classical tradition. In 2015, the 85th anniversary of his birth and the 15th anniversary of his death, we are releasing an encore pressing of the 19 albums Gurda recorded for Decca. The Mozart concerto, which he later re-recorded and left behind a number of masterpieces, is his last recording in his 40s. This is his last recording in his 40s.
