Description:

The fourth Meyerbeer opera, "Margarita di Ange," premiered at La Scala in Milan in 1820. This work, which incorporated a fictional character in the motif of the "Wars of the Roses" that took place in the English Middle Ages, was a great success. However, it was completely forgotten after it was revived in London in 1854. Finally, in 2017, it was revived and revived during the "London Week" of the 43rd Itria's Valley Music Festival, and people held their breath for the intense and daring story. Margarita, the widow of Henry VI, who is in love with the exiled Count de Lavarenne, and Isaura, Count de Lavarenne's wife.
