Working Principle

The MD-500 dries X-ray film through controlled conveyance between soft rubber rollers and an absorbent sponge shaft. As the film passes through, moisture is effectively removed without causing damage. Water can be supplied via an internal tank with a circulation pump or through a direct external water source.

The machine’s motorized system regulates film speed and drying temperature to ensure even and fast drying. The unit is ready for use after reaching the desired operating temperature and completing water circulation.

Usage Conditions

• Operating Temperature: Ambient conditions (recommended: 23°C–30°C)

• Water Temperature: 5°C–30°C

• Relative Humidity: ≤70%

• Environmental Requirements: Avoid exposure to vibration, strong magnetic fields, corrosive substances, and dust.

Safety & Maintenance Notes

• Clean the machine surface and rollers before use.

• Ensure water level in the tank is at least ⅓ full and that all tubes and pipes are correctly positioned.

• After daily use, drain water, power off, and leave the cover slightly open to prevent condensation.

• Run a test film before processing to confirm proper operation.

• Regularly wipe the inner chamber to remove water vapor and residue.

• Press the water supply button to verify circulation function.

• Ensure rollers are clean and free from crystallization or debris before each use.
