Description:
Supercar" is the fourth puppet show for British TV master Gerry Anderson, famous for "Thunderbirds" and "Mystery Disc UFO". This memorable work established the "Supermarionation" genre, utilizing an electromagnetic mechanism that causes the puppets' lips to move in response to the sound of dialogue, and realistically depicts the activities of futuristic mecha using special effects technology. The adventures of Dr. Beeker and Professor Popkiss are depicted using the "Supercar," a dream vehicle invented by Dr. Beeker and Professor Popkiss that can travel in the sky or on the sea. However, the "supercar" had one drawback. It could not drive on the road. Since this is an early film, the characters are more subtle than in "Thunderbirds," which is also very enjoyable. Of course, the music is by Barry Gray, an essential part of Gerry Anderson's work. Until now, the music for "Supercar" has only been included in a few Barry Gray compilations such as "Stand by for action," and this is the first time that the music has been released on CD as a stand-alone soundtrack disc. With content that will make your heart dance from the theme song, this is sure to be a must-listen for fans!
