In Scott Almes' Silicon Valley, players step into the shoes of budding entrepreneurs as they compete to be the first to bring their start-up company to a $1 billion valuation.

Players hire staff for their start-up company to bring new products to market, with the nature of the products determined by patterns you build with polyominoes. By bringing these products to market you earn income, but other players can copy your product and take some of that money for themselves - refining your ideas to steal market share. Along the way, you must obtain financing and try not to go bankrupt, while working towards the goal of being the first company to be valued at $1 billion, which will give you victory.

Players must juggle their products while keeping an eye on their competitors, hiring and firing, finding investors and expanding their headquarters, all while keeping an eye on the bottom line. Will the valley make or break you?
