Who hasn’t heard of a “Black Opal”? Not many of us ever get to see one, let alone wear one. I'm offering TWO - well matched, carved, Black Opal leaves as a stunning set! In the late 70s I was able to buy some wonderful raw Opals from Mintabe, Australia, and carved this semi-matched, 18.62 carat, set of stones with a beautiful, ornate pendant or an equally outstanding set of dark Opal earrings in mind. The Mintabe Opal field was permanently closed by the Australian government in 2018. The fire in an Opal is extremely difficult to capture in a photograph, but I have done my best to accurately portray the many faces of this stone by providing several photographs under different lighting and positions. I offer a 7-day return privilege, providing the stone is returned in the same condition as when it was shipped, should you be less than pleased with your purchase.
