This fabric is slightly heavier than your average sharkskin which gives it a more sophisticated feel than what you may first think of when you hear “sharkskin suit.” It's still the classic stairstep pattern in the weave, which gives a beautifully subtle texture and sense of movement. So when you're on the hunt for something a little more unique (but not too different) from your regular navy suit, this is the suit for you. We recommend it for everything from those daily work meetings and zoom calls to weddings, January to December it’s a real workhorse of a suit.

The suit is fully canvased just like our bespoke suits, to give you that long lasting special feeling you’d expect from a properly tailored garment. Like a pair of quality leather shoes, you can almost feel it start to mold to your body when you’ve worn it for a few events. The 'Redmayne Formal Navy' suit is a true reflection of the classic British drape cut. The coat is styled with the classic two buttons, with straight flap pockets for that classical Savile Row look. Our favourite special touch is the flower loop behind the lapel hole, so that you can wear a Boutonnière without needing any pins to hold it in place.

The fit is one that we would typically describe as slim but never skinny. The trousers have been cut and styled with our two English (forward facing) pleats to compliment the coat, a classic English turn up at the bottom cuffs, slanted side pockets, traditional strap and buckle adjusters and interior brace buttons.
