This! Not exactly my usual taste, but it's so painstaking made, and so over the top flouncy, that I could not pass it by. Plus the great petit point (tiny needlepoint) basket of flowers at the center surrounded by green and red ribbon knotted to form roses and vines. And a pink satin underside. Really quite a thing! 

I'm not sure if stuffed with sawdust or what, but it's quite solid and pretty heavy, and ready to hold all the pins and needles one could ever need. 6" in diameter x 2 5/8" tall and in great shape. Victorian era I would think.
