Eleven swans a swimming...I think these terrific vintage swan-shaped napkin rings would make a pretty festive addition to the holiday table, but would equally be great for a summer picnic in the park. Made of papier-mâché, I believe, which has been hand-painted and lacquered, each one is a little different, adding up to really lovely and unusual set.

I'd guess these date to the 1940s or so but have not found any others like them. There are small chips to the surface here and there, pretty minor and which I don't think detract. Each ring measures 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" x 5/16" thick. Sold as a set of eleven.
