I believe this guy is meant to be a boxer, and I would guess a specific one at that, with what appear to be the initials of his maker subtly carved into his belly. I have a hard time passing by a lovingly carved dog, or animal of any sort really, and really like the on the ready posture and watchful expression on this one.

4 1/2" l x 1 3/8" t x 5 1/8" t. Very good vintage condition, I might guess mid 20th century or so. There is a very thin black line on one side, which doesn't seem to be a split or repair, as pictured..
