Proudly crafted in the USA, Kutzall Flame Burrs are the perfect companions for your rotary carving tools designed to work easily and efficiently where conventional tools are limited. 

The unique flowing shape of the Kutzall Flame Burrs is designed to shine in a variety of detailed cutting scenarios. The Flame Burrs are used to produce soft concave cuts or notch V’s with a gentle radius. The "pencil tip" on the Flame Burrs is also great for handling any of your detailed carving tasks.

Kutzall Flame Burrs are made of tungsten carbide for incredible wear life, providing a truly unique combination of material removal and surface quality. Available with two coatings in various coarseness. 

• Original Coating — Creates a smooth cutting action and is easy to control. Works exceptionally well on harder woods. Available in Fine and Coarse coarseness. 
• Extreme Coating — When heavy material removal is desired. Exceptionally resistant to loading - great for working with wet or gummy woods. Available in the Very Coarse coarseness.

COMPATIBLE WITH THE FOLLOWING GRINDERS

The recommended operating speed range is 10,000 - 25,000 RPM. They will remove material at lower speeds (hand drills, drill presses), but both material-removal rate and control improve as speed increases.

CLEANING
The Kutzall Flame Burrs can be easily cleaned using a torch and/or a quick few passes with a soft wire brush. The heat will not harm the teeth!
