1963 Gibson Barney Kessel in very good condition. This Gibson is all original with no history of repairs. It is marked with a "2" on the back of the headstock indicating it was a factory second. This Barney Kessel was constructed with a spruce top, maple back and sides, a maple neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck has a width of 1 11/16” at the nut, a depth of 0.81” deep at the first fret, and a depth of 1.15” at the twelfth fret. The guitar has a 25 1/2” scale and weighs 7.19 lbs. The guitar features original patent number pickups. Comes with the original hardshell case.
