They’ve always been prized for their natural spring, breathability and durability, but over the decades have been superseded by cheaper synthetic materials.

We combine these layers of cashmere, and horsehair needled with coconut fibres, with our signature natural latex and organic locally sourced wool. The layers unite to provide superior comfort and breathability, aiding your temperature control and allowing you a more settled night’s sleep whatever the weather. For extra support and long-term rigidity on the most wear-sensitive part of the mattress - its edges - we encase the Sumptuous’ spring unit with a hessian wrapped layer of organic coir.
