I didn't know I was looking for a tea caddy spoon, used for scooping loose leaf tea from a tea caddy into a teapot, but I came across this and fell in love with it, for the form and especially for the very folky engraving on the bowl, done I believe with hammer and graver (like a fine chisel) and which always makes me think of trench art. And that engraving happens to be very closely aligned with the engraving on a charming tole snuff box shoe also listed today, both I believe early-mid 19th century. There are hallmarks on the back of this handle that I am not knowledgable enough to decipher, but surely that's a crown at center (the crown of the Sheffield Assay Office I believe?) I believe this is silver plate. 

3 1/2"l  x 1 3/8" w. Very good antique condition with general light wear from use, all the better in person, really lovely.
