The color of distressed leather may vary from belt to belt and will darken slightly as it is worn. To lighten the color and enhance the distressed look, gently flex or bend the leather, being careful not to kink it. If you get an unwanted scratch on the surface, just rub it firmly with your fingers, and the oils in the belt will help to lessen it. The more you wear it, the better it looks!
