Precision engineered in Germany, Loxx Fasteners are probably the strongest, most user friendly, and the most versatile fasteners there are on the market today. They are secure, too! These quick release fasteners have been designed with a “smart mechanism” that will not open unless the head of the upper part is pulled up and released from the ball head on the lower part, which isn’t something that can be done with a simple flick of the thumb! So, you can rest assured knowing that they will not accidentally open or come undone.

Plus, installation is a cinch! Simply punch a 3/8” hole in both pieces of your leather (or whatever material you’re using) and for the upper, insert the cap’s threaded post through the hole. Then place the washer over your material and secure with the handy key (included)), making sure that the washer is at least flush with the thread. Same for the lower, except you’ll place your material over the ball head and threaded post. Also, you’ll notice that there’s a fixed washer on the very bottom of the lower that you’ll need to secure separately. This unique feature was designed to provide extra torque for tightening, adding even more strength and reliability to the Loxx Fastener.
