HYDROFEST microcement is ideal for finishing bathroom and kitchen walls, including wet zones such as showers or splash-prone areas. It can also be applied directly on existing tiles.

Quick application guide

Applying HydroFest microcement on tiled walls involves 4 steps:

1. Surface preparation
   remove silicone, sand tiles, fill grout lines, and apply Fest Grunt primer.
2. Reinforcement
   apply FEST KONTAKT bonding layer and embed fiberglass mesh (first coat with mesh, second coat without).
3. Microcement application
   apply two coats of HydroFest microcement.
4. Sealing
   finish with two coats of PU Fest 2K Carbon varnish.

What’s included?

A complete set for finishing 10 m² of wall surface with HydroFest waterproof microcement.

• Fest Grunt (1 kg) – primer that evens out surface absorption and improves adhesion between layers. One coat is sufficient.

• FEST KONTAKT (15 kg) + fiberglass mesh (10 m²). FEST KONTAKT acts as a bonding bridge in which you can embed the mesh to strengthen the surface and protect it against cracking. Sufficient for two layers.
  
  

• HYDROFEST microcement (10 kg) – ready-to-use, factory-pigmented, waterproof microcement. Enough for two coats.

• PU FEST 2K CARBON sealer (1 kg component A + 0.08 kg component B) – two-component protective sealer with very high hardness and excellent resistance to abrasion and stains. One coat is sufficient; for maximum durability, two coats are recommended. Choose the option with an additional varnish layer for full surface protection.

Color selection

HydroFest microcement is factory-pigmented and does not require adding pigments during use. The pigments are mixed during production, ensuring a uniform shade and a consistent, aesthetic finish. Simply choose a color from our standard color chart.

You can also order a custom color from the RAL palette (200+ colors) or NCS palette (nearly 2000 colors) – providing full flexibility for design and interior personalization.
