I believe this little frog dates to the late 19th century, and so it's pretty amazing that he's still squeaking after all these years, and has held on to his red and silver paint beautifully too. He might once have been attached to a post of some sort and perhaps popped up in a jack in the box of sorts as some of these squeakers did- I'm not sure. But now he sits happily flat on a surface, and by pulling up on his neck then pushing it back down emits a high pitched chirp!
1 3/4" t (not extended) x 1 3/8" in diameter. Excellent antique condition, with no tears and only minor paint loss.
