These Baubles are individually hand thrown on the potters wheel. Each piece takes time and care to finesse and finish to an adequate weight appropriate for hanging on a tree. Once dried they are bisque fired to cone 06 - 1000⁰C. Then they are glazed in a signature tin white glaze and fired to cone 9 in oxidation in an electric kiln. At the next stage the designer/makers own photoshop designed imagery is used as a water slide transfer and these decals are applied carefully to the round surface. The baubles go through their final third firing at 840⁰C to melt the decal transfer into the surface of the glaze.

Each bauble has an addition of a silver Claire Murdock Ceramics Signature logo decal at the bottom. They are also finished with a tartan bow on either a gold or silver bauble topper hook with a satin red ribbon for hanging.

The baubles come in a card gift box with completed with tissue paper and the Claire Murdock Ceramics Signature logo on the lid.
