Tasting Notes: My initial gut on ‘maple finish’ would lean sweet forward on the nose, but this one leans more sweet tea and dark brown sugar. Dense, creamy, and inviting.

On the palate all the maple oozes forward. Gobs of sweetness, almond croissant, orange slice candies, Belgian waffles baked with crystalized sugar and syrup.

The finish is the best part of this pour - the maple soaks into the bourbon and lingers on the palate perfectly. Crispy Belgian waffle and rum-like sugar cane, lightly toasted oak and a huge wave of brown sugar.
