SmallRig Half Cage for Nikon ZR is a lightweight camera cage designed for gimbal based and handheld video production. It enables secure camera mounting for filmmakers and content creators, supporting quick installation without removing an existing quick release plate. This makes it ideal for workflows where fast setup and compact rigging are critical.

The half cage integrates an Arca Swiss compatible base to support direct mounting to tripods and stabilizers. Multiple threaded and locating points allow attachment of accessories without obstructing camera operation. An integrated HawkLock quick release NATO rail supports compatible handles and mounts.
