Auto Stow/Deploy
Nothing makes fishing easier than Riptide Ulterra. Auto Stow/Deploy lets you get your motor in and out of the water using the included i-Pilot remote.

Power Trim
Once your motor's in the water, Power Trim lets you easily adjust the motor depth for changing conditions, using your remote. Ulterra handles the busy work, so you can focus on fishing.

Integrated Battery Meter
In addition to showing the remote battery life, your i-Pilot remote will also show you the state of your motor's batteries, so you'll never have to guess how much longer you have on the water.

Digital Maximzer™

Fully Encapsulated Electronics: Marine-grade urethane fully encapsulates Riptide control boards to protect the electronic circuitry. All electrical connections are sealed with waterproof heat-shrink tubing to keep saltwater out.

Sacrificial Anode: We use metals that are properly balanced & a composite shaft to ward off galvanic corrosion. So the only piece left for saltwater to attack is this little zinc anode, which absorbs corrosion so the rest of the motor doesn't have to.

Minn Kota Riptide Ulterra is the only traction motor that can be automatically retracted and unfolded at the touch of a button. It can provide convenient control for saltwater anglers through the included i-Pilot remote control or foot pedal (sold separately). With the push of a button, Riptide Ulterra can trim or shrink to adapt to changing fishing conditions without reaching into the trolling boat. The i-Pilot Link system uses GPS to record the path and command speed through Spot-Lock to lock the fishing point. Through the i-Pilot Link system, you can use the touch screen remote control or virtual remote control on the hummingbird fish finder (sold separately) to control the motor. The Minn Kota Riptide motor is designed with advanced corrosion protection and fully encapsulated electronics to ensure the ultimate salt water defense capability. The Minn Kota Riptide Ulterra has an axle length of 54 inches, a thrust of 80 pounds (24 volts), and includes a heading sensor, mounting hardware and cables, and an i-Pilot GPS system.
