Jochen Dreissigacker is pioneering a wine revolution in the Rheinhessen and his low-intervention approach results in wines which have us breaking out in literal "Freudentränen" (that's German for "tears of joy").

He takes a hands-off philosophy in the vineyard and winery following organic and biodynamic principles, using wild yeasts, picking at optimum ripeness with zero chaptalisation and using no oak influence.

We love this winemaker. Simply - intervene as little as possible. This all results in a simply a brilliant wine.
