I’ve always been drawn to people who see the world differently, and Gaudí felt like one of those rare souls who created from a place of rebellion. He let nature, movement, and spirit lead the way.

He reminds me of the Hanged Man in tarot — the pause, the rebellion, the choice to flip everything upside down and trust what you see from there.

He let go of tradition and followed a vision only he could see. His work felt grown, not built — wild curves, perfectly imperfect shapes, everything breathing, alive.

The Hanged Man teaches us that clarity comes when we stop forcing it. When we pause, surrender, and let intuition guide us. Gaudí trusted instinct over symmetry, meaning over logic.

I kept thinking of that when making this series. The curves. The textures. The way things don’t follow a plan but still belong. I made these pieces from that same place — no maps, no rules. Just flow. Just trusting that sometimes the most honest things come when you look at the world sideways and decide: I will make something no one else dares to.
