PYZEL SHADOW GROM SURFBOARD - PERFORMANCE - SHORTBOARD

The Shadow Grom by Pyzel is simply the grom version of the shadow model. It's a smaller version of a forgiving high-performance model that allows younger surfers to progress to the next level before stepping on a normal-sized board.

The Shadow Grom was designed to give you the advantages of a wider, forward outlined shortboard, but in a sleek modern package. It has a modern-day high-performance outline, but with the wide point at the centre, not behind. The nose is nice and pulled in with a high-performance rocker to keep it free through critical turns. A gentle hip in the tail provides looseness and the squash tail is pulled in tightening the turning radius and improving its vertical capabilities. The tail rocker and bottom concave remain nearly identical to the Phantom, which has proven to work extremely well in everyday conditions around the world. This model has added foam under the chest area which helps to provide paddle power, but also provides extra float under the front foot in slower or weaker sections of the wave.

We recommend riding the Shadow Grom about your same height or an inch over, and in your favourite high-performance dimensions.
