Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway star in this comedy drama based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger. Andrea (Hathaway) has just graduated from college and hopes to become a successful journalist. With few opportunities available to her, she secures a job at 'Runway', America's most prestigious fashion magazine, as the second assistant to editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Streep).

However, Andrea knows nothing about fashion and struggles to fit in with her new co-workers. She must also contend with Miranda's endless, often impossible demands but as she becomes more committed to the job, she risks losing herself completely.
