This floating structure is designed to prevent any crinkling noise, making it one of the quietest pads in its class.
A 40D nylon base adds puncture resistance for rougher terrain, while a softer 20D nylon top keeps the sleep surface comfortable against skin. The redesigned Laylow™ valve offers precise micro-adjustment even at -28 °C and below, and the included Vortex™ pump sack helps inflate the pad in minutes without introducing moisture - a critical detail at altitude or in wet conditions to increase the lifespan of the pad.
At 9cm of loft, the box-baffle construction is particularly supportive for side sleepers, making the Tensor EC as comfortable as it is capable.
