Imagine slicing through choppy waters with crystal-clear data on wind angles, boat speed, and depth at your fingertips. The Garmin GNX Wired Sail Pack 43 transforms your sailboat's cockpit into a command center tailored for serious sailors. This all-in-one bundle delivers accurate, real-time insights from wind to water conditions, using proven NMEA 2000 connectivity for seamless integration. Whether you're racing competitively or cruising long distances, these rugged instruments help you make split-second decisions that keep you ahead of the fleet.
The GNX Wind instrument stands out with its glass-bonded monochrome LCD display, offering high-contrast readability in bright sunlight or pitch-black nights. Customize backlight colors and layouts to show true wind angle (TWA), apparent wind, boat speed, and steering guidance simultaneously. Low power draw— just 350 mW daytime—makes it ideal for battery-conscious sailboats. Pair it with compatible Garmin wearables via ANT technology for wind data streaming right to your wrist, giving you freedom to focus on trimming sails without glancing away.
At the heart of wind measurement lies the gWind transducer, leveraging Nexus twin-fin technology for stable true wind angle readings even in light airs. Its three-bladed propeller cuts through low winds with precision, minimizing errors from heel or leeway. Mounted on your mast with the included bracket, it sends wireless ANT signals directly to the GNX Wind or compatible chartplotters, eliminating cumbersome wiring hassles aloft.
Complement your wind setup with the GNX 20, a versatile display for depth, speed through water, temperature, and over 50 NMEA 2000 parameters. Switch between sail or powerboat profiles, or craft custom pages with single, dual, or triple fields, graphs, and gauges. The anti-glare lens and scalable digits up to 36 mm ensure legibility from any angle, while ultra-low 25 mA consumption keeps your systems running efficiently.
Designed for boats with 43 mm thru-hull fittings—like those from Nexus or Silva—the GDT 43 depth transducer and GST 43 speed/temperature sensor retrofit effortlessly without new holes. Add the included NMEA 2000 adapters to broadcast data network-wide, so every display stays synchronized. These sensors deliver reliable bottom tracking and log speed calibrated for currents, essential for tactical racing or safe navigation in shallows.
Setting up the GNX Wired Sail Pack 43 feels like adding factory options. The bundle includes a GND 10 black box adapter, NMEA 2000 drop cable, T-connector, and field-installable connectors for quick network integration. Flush or flat mount the instruments, secure the mast bracket, and you're sharing data across compatible Garmin multifunction displays in under an hour. IPX6 waterproofing and a wide operational range from 5°F to 158°F handle harsh marine environments, backed by Garmin's reputation for durability.

GNX Wind Instrument
GNX Wind gives you the wind data necessary to make confident decisions. Featuring high-visibility, glass-bonded backlit monochrome LCD display with customizable backlight colors, GNX Wind interfaces through the NMEA 2000 network to show 2 data fields and a digital wind rose simultaneously to display true and apparent wind data, steering guidance, boat speed and more. Low power consumption of 350 mW daylight (no backlight) and 400 mW nighttime (mid-level backlight) is perfect for sailboats. Customizable user settings allow you to configure the screen layout to your preferred setting. Display configurations include more than 15 important marine parameters for wind, speed and navigation. Using ANT® technology, GNX Wind connects with the gWind Wired transducer and to a compatible quatix® GPS marine smartwatch or a Garmin Nautix™ in-view display to stream wind data directly.
gWind Transducer
gWind transducer offers an easy-to-install solution. Accurate wind signals are sent wirelessly via an ANT connection directly to a GNX Wind instrument or to a compatible GPSMAP® chartplotter. The transducer features renowned Nexus twin-fin technology with a 3-bladed propeller, providing accurate wind speed and stable wind angle in lighter wind conditions.
GNX 20 Marine Instrument
The easy-to-read GNX 20 display with black digits on a white or color background clearly shows water depth, boat speed through the water, water temperature and 50-plus marine and boat parameters through the NMEA 2000 network. Customizable user settings allow you to choose from 5 available display configurations for sailboat or powerboat user profiles, including single, dual and triple function plus gauge and graph modes to display wind, depth and speed data. Or you can customize the pages to display the marine and boat data most important to you. Its glass-bonded display with anti-glare lens coating provides excellent daytime and nighttime readability with high-contrast digits scalable up to 36 mm. Uses only 25 mA with 350 mW daytime usage requiring no backlight and just 400 mW with a mid-level backlight setting at night.
GDT 43 and GST 43 Transducers with 43 mm Fittings
If you already have 43 mm fittings for your thru-hull transducers, there’s no need to drill new holes. The bundle includes 43 mm thru-hull transducers, which can retrofit boats with existing Nexus® or Silva TH43 transducers. GST 43 is a speed and temperature transducer, and GDT 43 is a depth transducer. Addition of an NMEA 2000 adapter allows each GDT 43 transducer to share its data over the NMEA 2000 network to a compatible Garmin chartplotter or instrument display.
